Good call! This map covers a pretty large area, though the not-to-scale trees and critters deceive the eye.
The Mammoth Plain is Alaska with lower sea levels. The Corridor runs south across western Canada. The lake that is flooding to the west is Lake Missoula. The big river is the Mississippi, back when it was much bigger to handle the glacial runoff. Just below the eastern ice, you can see the beginnings of the Great Lakes and Michigan.
Is that around Wisconsin? That huge glacier makes me think it is…

Ha ha … Actually, a good bit of the book takes place in the southern portion of the map.
