The subtitle is too long for its position. It gets too close to the edge of the page. Maybe move it in or move part of it down one line.
Looks great otherwise. Gives a good sense of the ancient quality of the story.
Believe it or not, that wasn’t intentional. I looked in my trusty TimeLife books and modeled this snake on some of the fantastic close-up photographs they have of Mayan and Aztec serpent art of various kinds. But now that you mention it, yes.
