Looks great otherwise. Gives a good sense of the ancient quality of the story.
Believe it or not, that wasn’t intentional. I looked in my trusty TimeLife books and modeled this snake on some of the fantastic close-up photographs they have of Mayan and Aztec serpent art of various kinds. But now that you mention it, yes.
