They say it’s melting. Maybe Graham Hancock will get his onetime wish and we can do Antarctic archaeology and find out whether it was really the site of Atlantis.
“Melting ice in Antarctica reveals new uncharted island”
“Melting Glaciers Reveal a New Island in Antarctica”
(When I first saw the satellite image of Eagle Island, visible in the second article, for a second I thought it was the whole continent. The headline in my browser had been something like “Antarctic Ice Melting,” and then there’s this image, left and right, left mostly snow-covered, right showing lots of brown rock, melt ponds, coastline. I was like, “WOW! That melted REALLY fast! We can see the land and everything! Oh … wait … that’s a small island, not the whole continent.”)
With the ignorant masses claiming that the world is overpopulated, I’m surprised they aren’t more enthusiastic for this, means more land for them to fill

Ha ha, yeah, I am not 100% certain it is melting off, since what we are told seems to change every five minutes or so … even about the solar system … but yeah, from my point of view it’ll be a great paleontology (maybe even archaeology) opportunity.
